Newman Institute for Catholic Thought and Culture
The Newman Institute for Catholic Thought and Culture is an apostolate of the Diocese of Lincoln and Bishop James Conley. The Newman Institute is a partnership of St. Gregory the Great Seminary with St. Thomas Aquinas Newman Center at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. The goal is to offer courses on catholic thought inspired by the great books of western literature each semester, open to any undergraduate student Freshmen to Senior in the Lincoln area. who can take courses offered by the Newman Institute at the Newman Center on UNL campus. Students can apply the credit from the courses to their degrees at the University of Nebraska, or at other institutions.
