LINCOLN (SNR) – Under the leadership of the student council, Pius X High School in Lincoln collected 16,493 pounds of food and $1,450 in cash in the annual drive for the Lincoln Food Bank.

The totals made Pius the winner of the large school division in the city-wide food drive. Pius has won the division every year since 2014. The winner is determined on a “meals per student” basis.  Pius X High School collected 14.9 meals per student; the next closest was 2.8 meals per student.
