The Office of Communications for the Diocese of Lincoln is dedicated to spreading the joy of Jesus Christ to His people of southern Nebraska. This office serves the Bishop’s ministry with Christian joy as resources for parishes, schools, institutions and people of the Diocese of Lincoln.
Our goal is to share the Gospel as well as stories and events from across the diocese. This office oversees the Southern Nebraska Register weekly newspaper, the diocesan website (lincolndiocese.org), our social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube), the weekly television Mass broadcast, as well as diocesan podcast, video and audio productions. We work to facilitate internal communications between parishes, schools, agencies, groups and individuals within the diocese, as well as share the Good News and our stories with Catholics across the diocese and beyond, and the larger public community as well.
Any members of the broadcast, digital or print media interested in covering an event or story involving the Catholic Diocese of Lincoln should contact the Office of Communications. We can assist with setting up interviews as well as videography and photography requests. If you are looking for a story idea regarding one of our schools or parishes or an expert on the Catholic faith, we can help with that, too!

Media Guidelines:
- All requests for local or national media interviews with Bishop Conley should be made through the Office of Communications. Please make your request with enough advance notice to allow us to try to accommodate you given the Bishop’s busy schedule.
- All buildings and grounds surrounding the Chancery, John XXIII Diocesan Center, diocesan churches and schools are private property. Please contact the Office of Communications to request a visit or permission to videotape or photograph in these buildings or on these grounds.
- If you are requesting to cover a Mass in the diocese, please contact the Office of Communications well before the date of the Mass so we can work with the local parish to accommodate the request. It is always necessary to make sure any such coverage is not intrusive or distracting to those trying to worship. All interviews should be conducted outside of the main worship area so as not to disturb anyone praying.
