Retirements
The Reverend Edwin Stander retires from active ministry and takes up residence at Bonacum House.
The Reverend James Cooper retires from active ministry and takes up residence at Bonacum House
Dean
The Reverend Bernard Lorenz, retaining all present assignments, is appointed Dean (Vicar Forane) of the Grant Deanery.
Pastors
The Reverend Valerian Bartek is appointed Pastor of Saint Vincent Ferrer Parish, Osceola, and Saint Mary Parish (Pilzno), Osceola.
The Reverend Joseph Faulkner, continuing to teach at Hastings Catholic Schools in Hastings, is appointed Pastor of Saint Ann Parish, Doniphan, and Sacred Heart Parish, Kenesaw.
The Reverend Lothar Gilde is appointed Pastor of Saint James Parish, Trenton, Holy Family Parish, Palisade, and Saint John Parish Wauneta.
Parochial Vicars

The Reverend Andrew Heaslip, continuing as Advocate on the Diocesan Tribunal, is appointed Parochial Vicar at Saint Patrick Parish, McCook, Saint Ann Parish, McCook, Sacred Heart Parish (Hayes Center) McCook.
The Reverend Christopher Miller, continuing as Advocate on the Diocesan Tribunal, is appointed Parochial Vicar at Saint Michael Parish, Hastings and is appointed to teach at the Hastings Catholic Schools.
The Reverend Steven Thomlison, continuing as Chaplain in the Nebraska Army National Guard and Chaplain to the Nebraska State Patrol, is appointed Parochial Vicar at Saint Mary Parish, Nebraska City, and is appointed to teach at Lourdes Central Catholic Schools, Nebraska City.
The Reverend Matthew Rolling is appointed to study the Spanish language during the summer in the Dominican Republic and then to be the Parochial Vicar at Saint Cecilia Parish, Hastings, and to teach at Hastings Catholic Schools and to assist in the Spanish-speaking apostolate in the Hastings region, continuing as an Advocate on the Diocesan Tribunal.
Special
The Reverend William Kalin is appointed Senior Priest in Residence at Saint Mary Parish, Nebraska City.
The Reverend Thomas MacLean, continuing all present assignments, is appointed Assistant Director of Cemeteries of the Diocese of Lincoln.
The Reverend Janusz Marzynski is appointed Chaplain at Saint Elizabeth Regional Medical Center and at the Nebraska Heart Hospital.
The Reverend Andrew Kurz, at his request, is excardinated from the Diocese of Lincoln in order to be incardinated into the Diocese of Green Bay, Wisc.
