LINCOLN (SNR) – The remaining talks in the annual Catholic Coffee House series hosted by the diocesan Office of Evangelization and Spiritual Formation will be held in the John XXIII Diocesan Center, 3700 Sheridan Blvd., Lincoln.
The change was made due to the Dec. 21 closing of Gianna’s Java and Gelato in Lincoln, the site of the previous events in the series.
The upcoming talks will be Jan. 19, 2020 presented by Bob Sullivan, Hastings attorney and apologist; and Feb. 16, 2020, presented by Diane Reiber, artist and author.
The overall theme of the series is “Personal Testimonies on How an Encounter with God Leads to a Mission.” Each event consists of a presentation by a guest speaker, a question-and-answer session, and time to socialize. Each session is held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. There is no fee to attend and no registration is required. Video of previous presentations are available at www.lincolndiocese.org/evangelization/coffee-house. With questions, call 402-473-0615.
The mission of the Office of Evangelization and Spiritual Formation is to spread the Gospel to all people, both the unbaptized and baptized, so that they may come to an encounter with Christ, and also to support the efforts and spiritual life of the evangelized.
