ASHLAND (SNR) – St. Mary Parish in Ashland will host a “Harvest Fest” Sunday, Oct. 24 from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The parish’s first Harvest Fest event was held in 2019, but the COVID-19 pandemic necessitated a one-year break.
The event includes a dinner, online silent auction and a country market with baked goods, handmade products, jams, jellies and other items.
The dinner will consist of sliced smoked pork loin, cheesy potatoes, savory cottage green beans, autumn apple slaw, hot rolls and butter and homemade dessert.
There will be a choice of socially-distanced, dine-in seating (adults $12; kids 6-12 $8; kids 5 and under, free) or drive-thru ($12 per meal). Those using the drive-thru may enter off 16th Street between Silver and Adams.
The online silent auction can be accessed at biddingowl.com/StMarysCatholicChurch. The auction will remain open until Oct. 27. New items are added daily.
Donations will also be accepted to offset medical expenses for parishioner Tom Lindhorst, who has been hospitalized since late August with COVID-19.
