LINCOLN (SNR) - The Knights of Columbus Council 13576 of St. Patrick Parish in Lincoln is planning a veteran’s remembrance and recognition program Nov. 11.
All are welcome to attend Mass celebrated by Father David Bourek at 5:30 p.m. in St Patrick Church, 6120 Morrill Ave.
The young men’s choir from Pius X High School in Lincoln will lead hymns during Mass.
Immediately after the Mass, Quilts of Valor will be presented to several veterans.
Following the presentation, the University of Nebraska Color Guard will post the colors in the St. Patrick School gymnasium, where the Pius X men’s choir will sing a medley of the armed services’ songs, recognizing each branch of the United States of America Armed Services.
The remembrance and recognition program will end approximately 8 p.m.
