WAVERLY (SNR) – Sister Ann S. Divis, 91, of Waverly, died July 22.
She was a member of the Marian Sisters of the Diocese of Lincoln and marked the 60th jubilee of her religious profession this year.
Bishop Fabian Bruskewitz celebrated a funeral Mass July 26 at the Cathedral of the Risen Christ in Lincoln. Burial was in the Good Shepherd Cemetery in Waverly. Butherus, Maser & Love Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Sister Ann served the diocese as a teacher at Aquinas in David City and Pius X in Lincoln. She served the Marian Sisters community as superior, treasurer, and most recently, as motherhouse gardener.
She is survived by two sisters-in-law.
