HASTINGS (SNR) – Approximately 80 people participated in the inaugural “Walk for Life” in Hastings July 30.
The event was sponsored by Wellspring Pregnancy + Health Center in Hastings. Walkers were invited to pray for specific intentions related to mothers in need while walking around Lake Hastings. Many members of area Catholic parishes attended as part of the US Catholic Bishops’ “Walking with Moms in Need” initiative.
Wellspring Pregnancy + Health Center was started in 1989 and is one of the diocesan-approved pregnancy resource centers.
Wellspring offers pregnancy testing, STD screening, limited ultrasounds, parenting support, and material assistance to women experiencing unexpected pregnancies. All services at Wellspring are offered at no cost to clients.
