The Marian Sisters of the Diocese of Lincoln invite single young women, ages 19-32, to a Holy Week retreat April 17-19 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Retreat House in Waverly.
The retreat, centered on the Sacred Triduum, provides young women an opportunity to grow their faith through meditation on Christ’s passion, death, and resurrection. Beginning Holy Thursday at 6:15 p.m. and concluding Holy Saturday at 1:30 p.m., participants will reflect on the Lord’s love and mercy while discerning His call in their lives. Rooted in the Marian Sisters’ charism, “To do God’s will joyfully in imitation of Mary and Saint Francis,” the retreat offers a space for prayer, contemplation, and community.
Founded in 1954, the Marian Sisters serve in Catholic schools across Nebraska, as well as at St. Gianna Women’s Homes, Villa Marie School, and the Diocesan Chancery offices.
The retreat cost is $30 for students and $40 for adults. To register or inquire, visit www.mariansisters.org or contact Sister Amy Marie, M.S. at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or 402-786-2750.
