St. Michael Parish in Hastings will host a retreat April 4-6: “Unbound-Heart of the Father.”

Unbound is a ministry approved by and used in the Catholic Diocese of Lincoln. Father William Holoubek will lead the retreat in Hastings. He will teach the five simple “keys” of Unbound, to break the chains of emotional/spiritual bondage and unlock the doors to freedom. The keys are further described in the book “Unbound: A Practical Guide to Deliverance” by Neal Lozano.

“It’s a safe, loving, and reproducible model that teaches how to respond to the good news of the gospel and apply its truth to your life,” said Father Jeremy Hazuka, pastor of St. Michael Parish.

Father Holoubek is currently pastor of St. Anthony Parish in Bruno and Ss. Peter and Paul in Abie. He teaches at Aquinas in David City and is director of the diocesan Mission Office. He has been involved with Unbound retreats for more than 10 years.

The retreat will be held in St. Michael Church, 715 Creighton Ave., Hastings. To register, contact Mary Koch (402-984-6624), Marg Noecker (402-984-4120), or the St. Michael parish office (402-463-1023). Please call or text by Monday, March 31, to reserve a spot.
