All are invited to join an Easter Monday pilgrimage Monday, April 21, visiting indulgenced Jubilee Year pilgrimage sites.
Participants may continue their celebration of Easter on the pilgrimage. The group will depart North American Martyrs Church in Lincoln at 7 a.m., arriving for Mass at Assumption Church in Dwight at 7:40 a.m.
The first stop will be at the historic St. Michael Church in Tarnov, in the Archdiocese of Omaha. The visit will include touring the museum, church, rectory, school and grotto.
The next stop is Immaculata Monastery of the Missionary Benedictine Sisters in Norfolk. After a tour, pilgrims will pray the Stations of Light, a devotion focusing on the events after Christ’s resurrection.
After visits to the St. Benedict Center in Schuyler and Christ the King Priory, pilgrims will return to North American Martyrs by 6:30 p.m. The cost is $70 per person, which includes the charter bus, admission fees, snacks and lunch.
