Young, single women invited for prayer, discussion

The Holy Spirit Adoration Sisters, also called the Pink Sisters, invite single women ages 14-30 to a morning of reflection Saturday, Nov. 22.
The day will start with an optional Mass at 9 a.m. at the Newman Center, 320 N. 16th St., Lincoln. At 10 a.m., all will gather in the Aurora Room at the Christ the King Chapel, 1040 S. Cotner Blvd., the home of the Pink Sisters.
Coffee and rolls will be served and the cloistered Sisters will address the women on the topics of discernment and life as a cloistered nun, with an opportunity to ask questions.
In addition to the Sisters currently assigned to the Lincoln convent, Mother Maria Magdalena, the order’s superior, will be visiting from their motherhouse in Germany. After the visit with the sisters, time in the chapel will be encouraged.
