HOLDREGE (SNR) – All Saints Church, 1204 Logan St. in Holdrege, will host a parish mission Sept. 28-30.

The event begins at 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28, with a potluck dinner at 5:30 p.m. Guests only need to bring a side dish as the parish will provide the main course. Exposition and Benediction will follow the dinner at 7 p.m.

Father Scott Courtney, pastor of St. Anthony of Padua Parish in Steinauer and Sacred Heart Parish in Burchard, will provide talks for the mission at 7 p.m. Sept. 29 and Sept. 30.

As is the case with all of Father Courtney’s talks, everyone who participates is encouraged to bring a Bible, note book and highlighter.

The talks will be, in part, based upon “St. John Paul II the Great: His Five Loves,” the recent book by Jason Evert.

The parish mission will be located in the parish hall. There will be free child care provided all three nights.
