Nov. 21 event to fund windows in new church
LINCOLN (SNR) – St. Patrick Parish in Lincoln will host its annual fundraising event, “STARS,” Nov. 21, in the school gymnasium, 4142 N. 61st St., Lincoln.
Proceeds from the event will help fund stained-glass windows for the new church building.
Pastor Father Troy Schweiger recently led visitors through the new church during an open house of the construction project. The new church will replace the previous church building, constructed in 1908.
The STARTS event, titled “Lighting the Path,” will begin with a social hour at 5:30 p.m. and silent auction. Dinner will be served at 7:30 p.m. and a live and silent auction will follow.
Tickets for the semi-formal event are $50 per person, and reservations are required by Nov. 9. For more information, call 402-466-2752.
