More Mercy, an apostolate in the Diocese of Lincoln, recently hosted a workshop on ecumenism, bringing together Catholics to explore the call for Christian unity. Founder Max Chapman and Jeremiah Zimmerman expanded on Catholic principles of ecumenism, outlining what the Church teaches about efforts to heal divisions among Christians. The Catechism’s guidance on unity and the Church’s commitment to fostering authentic dialogue were key themes. “…[N]o one can say, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ except by the holy Spirit.” (1 Corinthians 12:3)
