Father Sean Timmerman, pastor at Church of the Holy Spirit in Plattsmouth, initiated the new members of the Templars - Knights of the Holy Temple at Mass Oct. 5. In the rite of initiation, the chaplain prays, “This sword is a sign of the Templar’s strength and unity. You will fight your spiritual battles strengthened in the bond of brotherhood and remain forever strong in your resolve to confront and defeat the enemy of God.”
