Child & Parent Confirmation Retreat
Just as Baptism makes us children of God so Confirmation makes us missionaries for Christ Jesus. In the Sacrament of Confirmation the Holy Spirit comes to the baptized in a new and more intimate way. This new gift of the Spirit is ordered toward mission and evangelization, that is, the proclamation of the Good News of salvation. When someone receives Confirmation, then, the Holy Spirit will continue to work in that person in order to lead him or her to confidently proclaim Jesus' Name and to share the Gospel with others. The goal of this retreat is to help young people and their parents to grow in their familiarity with the Holy Spirit and His gifts as well as to prepare them to receive the evangelical mission toward which He leads them.

- February 13, 2027, St. Joseph Parish, 1940 S. 77th St., Lincoln
- February 27, 2027, St. Michael Parish, 715 Creighton Avenue, HASTINGS
- October 24, 2026, St. Mary Parish, Nebraska City, 520 1st Ave., Nebraska City
- Time: 10am to 3pm
- Fee: $25 per person
- For: Children to be Confirmed and their Parents; Sponsors also welcomed (There needs to be at least one parent or sponsor with the child)
