WAVERLY (SNR) -  All men and women are invited to find a place of refuge and solitude, a place of renewal and conversion, a place of sanctuary and prayer, Sept. 13-16 on a four-day retreat at Good Counsel Retreat House near Waverly.

The retreat will highlight the role of holy angels and their ministry in people’s lives with Opus Sanctorum Angelorum, the Work of the Holy Angels, an international movement within the Catholic Church faithful to the Magisterium whose mission is to spread devotion to and conscious collaboration with the holy angels.

Anyone who wants to grow spiritually through silence, prayer, conferences and spiritual guidance, and learn about devotion to the holy angels so that they may be led more effectively to God should come to the Opus Sanctorum Angelorum retreat.

The retreat will start with a 6 p.m. dinner Thursday, Sept. 13 and end with Mass Sunday, Sept. 16, followed by lunch. The suggested donation for the four-day retreat is $270.

The Work of the Holy Angels also sponsors a “Crusade for Priests” program through which the faithful can spiritually adopt a bishop, priest or seminarian, to pray for them to have the strength to fulfill their ministry. For more information about Opus Sanctorum Angelorum, its mission, spirituality and the Crusade for Priests program, visit: www.opusangelorum.org.
