LINCOLN (SNR) - St. Michael School in Lincoln is honoring students who show “Kindness like Christ” with yard signs.

The yard signs are part of the school’s  strategy of marketing through efforts at evangelization. “Kindness like Christ” is a theme for the school’s 2019-20 academic year, and the goal of the signs is to share St. Michael’s story with parishioners, neighbors and friends to spread kindness and recognize students who are living as disciples of Jesus. Students are nominated by their teachers to receive the sign.

Avery Cederberg, a third-grader, was one of the children recently chosen to receive a yard sign. Avery’s teacher, Mrs. Elaine Chapman, told Avery’s parents, “Avery has frequently shown kindness by sharing with other students and her teacher. She is quick to see the needs of others and fill those needs.”
