LINCOLN (PX/SNR) – The Pius X Foundation will host a panel discussion using real-life and creative examples demonstrating the many ways in which one can save on taxes and invest in the future of Pius X High School in Lincoln.
The event, “Leaving Your Legacy,” will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 13 in the LPAC at Pius X High School, 6000 A St. More information is available at https://go.piusx.net/Legacy.
The planned giving seminar will cover Donating Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs) from Traditional IRAs, wills and bequests, revocable trusts, stock and appreciated asset gifts, and beneficiary designations.
Panelists Patrick Timmer and Chris Raun will also discuss how to strategize giving to maximize charitable income tax deductions. The moderator of the event is Doug Koenig and light refreshments will be served.
Pius X High School opened Oct. 1, 1956 and currently serves more than 1,200 students in grades 9-12. The Pius X Foundation began in 1970 to help ensure the success of Pius X High School. The development team works to ensure the long-term financial stability of Pius X; keep Catholic education affordable; retain, attract and develop quality instructors; and encourage curriculum development. The Endowment has provided more than $9 million in direct support to Pius X High School, and secures the future of Pius X through continued support.
