LINCOLN - S.T.A.G.E. Student Theatre will perform the musical melodrama, “The Good, The Bad, and The Fuzzy,” at St. Teresa Church, 36th and Randolph streets in Lincoln.
They will present evening performances Jan. 17, 24, 25 at 7 p.m., and matinee performances Jan. 19 and 26 at 2 p.m.
The humorous musical is set in the Wild West, where right is right, and wrong is wrong until “A. M. Biguous” rides into the town of Nowhere, selling her book, “Grey Matters,” and relativism is on the loose, turning the town inside out. Adding to the dilemma, the notorious Seven Deadly Vice Gang is planning a bank robbery. They attempt to break Vicely Mustache out of jail to help in their sinister plot, but are caught in the act by Sheriff Dudely Doozright. They narrowly escape, while Sheriff Dudely is fired for letting them get away.
Soon Vicely replaces Dudely as sheriff, and Dudely finds himself part of the outlawed gang. Eventually, all is set right, when the Virtue Riders, along with Dudely, save the day by capturing the outlaws and chasing A.M. Biguous out of town.
Students from across Lincoln will perform the musical, written and directed by Lee Ann Hotovy. Mike Zeleny and Rose Seeman serve as musical directors, along with choreographer Karrie Seeman.
