LINCOLN (SNR) – Cathedral of the Risen Christ in Lincoln will host a retreat with two nationally renowned, dynamic speakers, Tony Brandt and Chris Stewart of Casting Nets.
All are welcome to attend the three-night event. The retreat will be led in the church, 3500 Sheridan Blvd., Lincoln, beginning at 7:30 p.m. March 12-14. All safety precautions will be followed.
The weekend retreat for men and women of all ages will be focused on three themes: the challenge of discipleship, stewardship – the complete gift of self, and “Seven Pillars of Effective Evangelization.” Casting Nets strives to bring inspiration and information in presentations that are humorous and entertaining.
Speakers Tony Brandt and Chris Stewart have a combined 39 years of experience in almost every level and form of ministry, from youth to college, and from RCIA to adult formation.
“Our faith formation pillar team volunteers from our strategic plan have been working diligently to provide new, engaging spiritual opportunities for our parishioners and for others in the Diocese of Lincoln to encounter Christ,” said Jennie Sayker, director of stewardship for the Cathedral.
