LINCOLN (SNR) - All are invited to join an Easter Monday pilgrimage April 5, visiting seven Lincoln churches.
The pilgrimage will be led by Father Gary Coulter, director of Our Lady of Good Counsel Retreat House in Waverly.
“It’s a great way to continue the celebration of Easter with prayers, devotions, and joyfully decorated churches,” he said of the pilgrimage.
Participants will drive themselves with maps provided, and prayers will be led throughout the day for the Year of St. Joseph, praying the Seven Sorrows and Seven Joys of St. Joseph.
Those joining the pilgrimage will meet at St. Joseph Church, 1940 S. 77th St., Lincoln for 8:15 a.m. Mass Monday April 5, and a schedule and driving directions will be provided.
The cost is $35 and includes a catered lunch, snacks and drinks. The day concludes with a holy hour at St. Patrick Church in Lincoln from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
