WAVERLY (SNR) – Peter Trabert made promises in the Lay Franciscans of Mary Saturday, April 23 in the chapel of Marycrest Motherhouse near Waverly.
Trabert is a member of the Cathedral of the Risen Christ Parish in Lincoln. After completing a formation period of two years, he made promises to live in the spirit of St. Francis under the protection of Mary, the Mother of God.
The Lay Franciscans of Mary, founded in 2018, are an association of faithful Catholics who desire to strengthen their faith by uniting with other faithful Catholics through prayer and practicing the spiritual and corporal works of mercy.
