SEWARD - St. Gregory the Great Seminary in Seward sustained damage during a severe hail storm June 14. Tornado activity is also believed to have played a part.
The seminary is conducting a summer formation program for 14 seminarians; no one was injured during the storm.
There are 13 broken windows, as well as damage to all of the seminary roofs, gutters, down spouts and siding. Much of the landscaping was damaged or destroyed by hail and high winds. Temporary repairs have been made to cover broken windows. All the vehicles in the parking lot sustained hail damage.
