Thirty-three couples attended the Love & Life Program workshops at Our Lady of Good Counsel Retreat House in Waverly Feb. 24-26.
Couples heard lectures from Father Jaroslaw Szymczak, who traveled to Nebraska from his home near Warsaw, Poland. The Love & Life Program workshops help strengthen and enrich marriages by giving spouses tools which help them navigate the challenges and blessings of marriage and family.
This was the first Love and Life Program series at Our Lady of Good Counsel Retreat House. Previous programs have been held in Hastings, Omaha, and Wahoo, with programs scheduled to take place in Lincoln April 22-23 and in Wahoo Sept. 29-Oct. 1.
