All women are invited to Our Lady of Good Counsel Retreat House in Waverly to understand, even deeper, their feminine genius during the “God’s Beautiful Beloved” retreat with Sister Anne Marie Walsh, SOLT.
The 24-hour retreat will take place May 12-13.
“God has given woman a particular way of bringing His own beauty into the world,” said Sister Anne Marie. Women of all ages will be able to explore their extraordinary giftedness as women by drawing from St. Pope John Paul II’s apostolic letter Mulieris Dignitatem, (On the Dignity and Vocation of Women).
The Church heralds many holy women who have lived abundantly from their “feminine genius.” Taking from some of their examples, as well as the Blessed Virgin Mary, women on the May 12-13 retreat will be able to marvel at the role they have in the heart of the Church, and the gift they are to the world.
Sister Anne Marie Walsh is a perpetually professed Sister of the Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity (SOLT), which she joined in 1983. She received her degree in early childhood education and has completed coursework in formation and missiology at the Pontifical University Urbaniana in Rome. She has extensive experience in education of children, families, pro-life work, formation programs and more. She is currently assigned to Domus Trinitatis, a retreat center in Willey, Iowa.
