All women are invited to have a personal encounter with Jesus Christ Jan. 18-21, 2024, during the “In the Loving Hands of God” Spiritual Exercises retreat with Regnum Christi and Father Robert Presutti, L.C.

The retreat will be held at Our Lady of Good Counsel Retreat House in Waverly.

The name of the retreat comes from the words of the prophet, Jeremiah 18:6 – “... Indeed, like clay in the hand of the potter, so are you in my hand….” Participants will pray that God will shape and mold them to be vessels for His glory. They will be inspired by the Holy Spirit and learn to trust and surrender, resting in the Father’s good hands.

The retreat is open to all women, including those who are not members of Regnum Christi. Latin for “Kingdom of Christ,” Regnum Christi is a federation within the Catholic Church with a Christ-centered spirituality that is lived together in communion with all members, in union with the whole Church, and through a mission to build the kingdom of Christ.

Father Robert Presutti is a priest with the Legionaries of Christ and serves as the current program director at Divine Mercy University and auxiliary chaplain for lay sections. He was born in central Italy and grew up in the Chicago metro region. At 19, he entered the novitiate of the Legionaries of Christ in Cheshire, Conn., and was ordained a priest in Rome in 1998.

The ‘In the Loving Hands of God’ retreat starts Thursday, Jan. 18, with a 5:30 p.m. Mass and 6:30 p.m. social. It concludes Sunday after Mass at about 2 p.m. For more information or registration, visit goodcounselretreat.org or contact This email address is being protected from spambots.
