Couples who were married at Sacred Heart Church in Cedar Hill are asked to share their wedding photos for a summer celebration.
Sacred Heart Parish will mark the 145th anniversary of its founding June 7. The celebration will include a Mass and a meal, and the parish will honor all those who have been married at the parish.
Louise Bauer, treasurer of the Sacred Heart Altar Society, came up with the idea of a display of wedding pictures of couples married at Sacred Heart. She thought it would be a good way for people to share tangible mementos of the strong family history in the parish – and also garner attention for the June 7 celebration.
Names and photos of couples married at the parish are sought for a picture display. People may submit wedding pictures of their own weddings, or of family members who were married at Sacred Heart Church.

Each photo should be submitted with the wedding date and the couple’s names – including the bride’s maiden name. All submissions must be received by May 1.
