The School Family Association of St. Joseph School in Lincoln will present an evening of fun and laughter Friday, April 26, at the Rococo Theatre in Lincoln.

Headliner Jen Fulwiler is a standup comic, bestselling author, and mother of six children.

Opening for Fulwiler will be Father Jake Martin, S.J., a Catholic priest and stand-up comedian. He completed a Ph.D. in film studies at Trinity College Dublin in 2023, and is now teaching film at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.

Sarah Karle, one of the organizers, said the idea to host a comedy show and to invite Fulwiler and Father Martin was a collaborative effort among the School Family Association. She said the event was inspired by Bishop James Conley, when he mentioned Fulwiler’s work at a Newman Center gathering.

“We hope to welcome an audience, including parents and caregivers, who seek an evening of laughter and connection,” she said. “Our ultimate goal is to provide a space where attendees can relax, share in joyous moments, and strengthen bonds within our community.”

Tickets may be purchased online.
