Bishop James Conley will celebrate an outdoor Memorial Day Mass at 10 a.m. May 27, at Calvary Cemetery, 3880 L St., Lincoln.
Memorial Day is a day of remembrance and gratitude for all men and women who have died during military service for the United States.
Calvary’s annual Memorial Day Mass, celebrated at the round-about on the cemetery grounds, is said especially for all military service members, as well as for the souls of those buried in the cemetery.

All are welcome to attend the Mass. Some chairs will be avialable, but people may bring their own chairs as well.
Refreshments are served after Mass. Chick-fil-A and the Venue will serve samples, and visitors are welcome to tour the cemetery’s latest remodeling project – the office, and the Divine Mercy Community Room. People are also encouraged to view the Eagle Scout project underway on the southeast fence line near the 14th station of the cross.
