Regnum Christi invites all men, regardless of background or affiliation, to participate in a transformative spiritual retreat centered on building the Kingdom of Christ.
The Regnum Christi Men’s Spiritual Exercises retreat will take place Dec. 12-15 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Retreat House in Waverly. Led by Father Daniel Wilson, LC, the retreat provides an opportunity for men to deepen their faith, grow in spiritual leadership, and draw closer to Christ.
The retreat is open to men of all ages, whether they are familiar with Regnum Christi or are new to the movement. Attendees will experience a weekend rooted in the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola, which will include Mass, Eucharistic adoration, reconciliation, spiritual direction, and a series of meditations designed to help men better understand God’s will in their lives.
Father Daniel Wilson, a Legionary of Christ priest with more than 20 years of priestly ministry, will lead the retreat. Father Daniel entered the Legionaries of Christ in 1991, studied in Rome, and was ordained a priest in 2002. He currently serves as the Superior of the Calgary Community and the Regnum Christi Section Chaplain. His experience and commitment to spiritual formation will guide retreatants.
Regnum Christi is a movement that invites men to live out their faith, be leaders in their families and communities, and build the Kingdom of Christ in their daily lives. The Dec. 12-15 retreat will help men to take a step back from the busyness of life and hear God’s call more clearly.
