Our Lady of Good Counsel Retreat House in Waverly will host a three-day weekend retreat based on Neal Lozano’s book, “Unbound: A Practical Guide to Deliverance.”

The retreat, led by Father William Holoubek, offers participants a chance to break free from the lies and obstacles that hinder their relationship with God and His mercy.

The retreat is open to men and women. It begins Friday, Jan. 31, with a rosary and Mass at 8 p.m. and concludes Sunday, Feb. 2, with lunch at noon. This retreat is open to both men and women seeking to deepen their faith and experience the life-changing power of Unbound Ministry.

Participants will learn about the five keys of Unbound, a practical model that enables individuals to embrace freedom and the truth of the Gospel. The five keys are: Repentance and Faith: turning away from sin and entrusting oneself to Jesus; Forgiveness: releasing the wounds of the past by forgiving oneself and others; Renunciation: breaking away from lies, spirits, and tactics of the enemy; Authority: taking a stand against the works of Satan in one’s life; The Father’s Blessing: receiving God’s love and affirmation.

Unbound Ministry prayer teams will be available throughout the weekend to pray with retreatants, helping them apply these keys to their unique life stories.

Participants who wish to engage with the prayer teams are asked to prepare by reading the first nine chapters of the “Unbound” book or watching the accompanying video series. This ensures a deeper understanding of the principles and greater readiness to receive the fruits of the retreat experience.

Unbound offers a safe, effective approach for spiritual renewal and healing, empowering individuals to step into the grace, love, and truth of the Lord. This retreat is an opportunity to listen deeply to one’s own story, confront the barriers to God’s mercy, and emerge with a renewed sense of peace and purpose.
