Our Lady of Good Counsel Retreat House in Waverly will host a Spiritual Exercises retreat for women Feb. 6-9.
Led by Father Jason Brooks, LC, a priest of the Legionaries of Christ, the retreat aims to provide spiritual guidance and uplifting encounters. Father Brooks currently serves as a chaplain for Regnum Christi members in the Archdiocese of Detroit and leads a dynamic healing ministry in partnership with Encounter Ministries. Recordings will also be available to retreat participants for deeper study.
Dedicated times for spiritual direction will provide participants with personalized guidance to deepen their relationship with God. Father Brooks’ sessions will focus on themes of trust, surrender, and the loving care of the Father. This retreat is open to all women, including those who are not members of Regnum Christi.
Latin for “Kingdom of Christ,” Regnum Christi is a federation within the Catholic Church that fosters a Christ-centered spirituality. It emphasizes living in communion with fellow members, in unity with the Church, and engaging in a mission to build Christ’s kingdom on earth. Regnum Christi has more than 25,000 members in 38 countries worldwide.
