St. Michael Parish in Hastings will host a day of recollection on Ash Wednesday, March 5.
The event is open to men and women. It will be held in the church at 7th and Creighton streets, Hastings.
Father Evan Winter, pastor of St. John the Baptist Parish in Minden, will lead conferences. The day of recollection will include Mass, opportunities for confession and the stations of the cross.
Registration will be held from 9 to 9:30 a.m. in St. Michael’s Theisen Hall. The cost to attend is $5 per person, and participants should bring a meatless sack lunch. Refreshments will be provided.
