Camp Kateri Tekakwitha near McCool Junction has openings available in various summer camps for youth.
Sessions are available for students entering grades 3-12, featuring memorable activities like ziplines, challenge courses, slip and slide kickball, and other new games and outdoor events.
“But Camp Kateri is more than just fun,” explained Jacob Brouillette, executive director. “It’s a chance to encounter the living God.”
In the stillness of nature, he said, campers learn to slow down, listen to His voice, and experience His presence in the Eucharist and in authentic friendships.
“Surrounded by the beauty of creation, they come to understand that God designed all of this wonder to reveal His deep love for us,” he said. “Nature becomes a living invitation to relationship with Him—through the most vast, personal, and extravagant ways possible.”
This year, Kateri also has high school experiences. High school campers can embark on overnight camping adventures, cooking over an open fire, setting up tents, and sleeping under the stars. Brouillette said the camps will be separated for young men and women, and each will focus on the unique desires written on their hearts. Young men will explore their call to adventure, battle, and the pursuit of beauty. Young women will dive into their longing to be beautiful, pursued, and part of a great adventure.
Each day includes Mass, prayer, and time for reflection, helping campers grow in faith and build a stronger relationship with Jesus.
“Whether your child is soaring through the air on the zipline, or laughing with friends beneath the stars, Camp Kateri offers a safe, faith-filled, and joy-filled environment for personal and spiritual growth,” Brouillette said.
