Our Lady of Good Counsel Retreat House invites all seeking spiritual healing and renewal to attend the “Unbound: Freedom in Christ” retreat with Father Gary Coulter Aug. 22–24.
The weekend retreat begins Friday at 8 p.m. and concludes Sunday at noon. Held at the peaceful and prayerful grounds of the retreat house, this event offers participants an opportunity to encounter Christ in a personal and powerful way.
Based on the “Unbound” model of healing and deliverance developed by Neal Lozano, the retreat focuses on five simple keys to spiritual freedom: Repentance and Faith, Forgiveness, Renunciation, Authority, and the Father’s Blessing. The principles help individuals identify and overcome spiritual obstacles in their lives and receive the healing love of God. Participants will hear talks from Father Coulter, have opportunities for the sacraments, and may receive individual Unbound prayer sessions from trained diocesan prayer teams.
The retreat will be offered both in person and online. Those wishing to receive individual Unbound prayer are encouraged to read the first nine chapters of “Unbound” by Neal Lozano, or view the accompanying video series before attending the retreat.
Father Coulter, director of Our Lady of Good Counsel Retreat House, has served the Diocese of Lincoln since 1999 and leads the diocesan Unbound Ministry. He brings years of pastoral experience and spiritual insight to help guide retreatants on a journey toward freedom in Christ.
