Attendees of the Nebraska State Fair are welcome to attend Sunday Masses on the fairgrounds, celebrated by bishops from the Diocese of Grand Island.
Bishop Emeritus William Dendinger will celebrate Mass Sunday, Aug. 24, with the local 20-member Catholic contemporary worship team providing music.
Bishop Joseph Hanefeldt will celebrate Mass Sunday, Aug. 31, with 12 members of the Catholic worship team providing traditional music.
Both Masses will be held at 9 a.m. in the southwest corner of the fairgrounds on the ACP Stage. All donations collected during the Masses will go to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Food Pantry in Ord.
