Married couples are invited to enjoy an evening of fellowship, reflection and celebration of the vocation of marriage at Valentine’s Date Night, hosted at Our Lady of Good Counsel Retreat House in Waverly Sunday, Feb. 15.
The evening will feature the Missionaries of the Holy Spirit in the Family and a presentation by Father Robert Matya, pastor of St. Mary in Ashland and St. Joseph in Greenwood. Designed for married couples, the event offers an opportunity to enjoy a formal dinner, meaningful conversation, and reflect on the importance of marriage in the home, the Church, and the world.
Couples do not need to be affiliated with the Missionaries of the Holy Spirit in the Family to attend.
Check-in begins after 4 p.m., with a formal dinner served at 5:15 p.m. and a presentation at 6 p.m. Babysitting and children’s meals will be available, allowing couples to fully enjoy the evening. The program concludes by 7:30 p.m.
The cost is $50 per couple, which includes dinner. Babysitting is available for $5 per child, and children’s meals are available for an additional fee. Advance registration is required by Monday, Feb. 9.
