Bishop Emeritus Fabian Bruskewitz will be the honored guest at the March 21 spring prayer meal hosted by the Morning Star Chapter of Magnificat.
The event will be held from 9:30 a.m. to noon in the new Sacred Heart Parish Center, 3127 T St., Lincoln.
Magnificat is a ministry to Catholic women, a private association of the faithful within the Catholic Church under the jurisdiction of the Lincoln Diocese. Women of other Christian faiths are invited to attend the prayer meals.
Magnificat began in 1981. Magnificat of Lincoln, the Morningstar Chapter, was approved by Bishop Fabian Bruskewitz and held its first prayer meal March 9, 1996. The chapter is marking its 30th anniversary this year.
The primary purpose of Magnificat is to help Christian women become more open to the Holy Spirit through a deeper commitment of their lives to Jesus as Lord and to impart the Holy Spirit to one another by their love, service and sharing the good news of salvation. Learn more at the website.
