Our Lady of Good Counsel Retreat House will host an evening of outdoor adoration in collaboration with the Salt + Light Catholic Young Adult Community Sunday, April 26, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the retreat house, 7303 N. 112th St Waverly.
The event invites individuals and families to spend time in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament in an outdoor setting. Attendees are welcome to come and go throughout the evening.
Adoration will be from 4 to 5 p.m. directly in front of the retreat house. Food and games will be available afterward on the side of the building.
The gathering will include burgers, hot dogs and yard games, providing an opportunity for fellowship for all ages. Participants are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or picnic blankets for seating.
Staff at the retreat house said they hope the event offers a welcoming way for participants to encounter Christ in Eucharistic adoration while enjoying time with friends and family.
