The Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter (FSSP) was invited to the Diocese of Lincoln in 1994, and purchased St. Francis Chapel from Lancaster County in 1998. Bishop Fabian Bruskewitz blessed and rededicated the building in 1999.

Bishop James Conley presided at a holy hour in the Cathedral of the Risen Christ Monday, Jan. 26. The holy hour, “Light the Night,” is an annual event sponsored by the Diocesan Edu-cation Office to begin Catholic Schools Week in the Catholic Diocese of Lincoln.

Students from St. Peter Elementary and Pius X High School in Lincoln provided music, and priests were available to hear confessions.
