On Friday November 19, 2019, Lourdes Central Catholic School hosted the Funke Family and members of the Lourdes community to celebrate the dedication and blessing of our newly renovated Library and Media Center. Tom, an honorary alumni, and Dorothy (Heng), proud alumni of the class of 1961, were devoted members of our Lourdes family and shared their gifts generously with our alumni and school. Dorothy worked at Lourdes from 1991-2018 and served the school in various ways including alumni coordinator and school librarian. The renovation of the library was made possible through generous memorial gifts and is a continuation of Tom and Dorothy’s impact at Lourdes Central Catholic School.
