On Tuesday November 26, 2019, St. Patrick Catholic School students prepared and served lunch to Lincoln’s hungry and homeless at Matt Talbot Kitchen and Outreach. Led by their teacher, Mrs. Lyndsay Hartmann, students spent their morning browning meat and chopping vegetables for homemade chili, baking cinnamon rolls, and preparing fruit and vegetables to serve on the side. The students served over 100 people and many were able to come back for 2nd’s and even 3rd’s!  The students were filled with joy after their day of service and look forward to this annual event as a part of their 8th grade year at St. Patrick School.  This event helps to fulfill the St. Patrick School 2019-20 mission of ‘We Love Because He First Loved Us’ 1 John 4:19.
