Lourdes Central Catholic High School Senior Luke Partsch was honored Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at the Nebraska State Capitol for his perfect score on the ACT test.  Hosted by Governor Pete Ricketts and Nebraska Commissioner of Education Matthew Blomstedt, the event honored 44 students who received perfect scores on either the ACT or SAT exams from across the state.

Each student honoree was given the opportunity to share their future goals, college selection, and career plans. Governor Ricketts praised the students’ accomplishments noting their achievements as “very impressive.”

Partsch was also recently named a National Merit Scholar Finalist and a U.S. Presidential Scholar. He plans to continue his education at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to major in History and French Horn performance. Long term career goals include teaching history at the collegiate level or pursuing membership in a professional orchestra.
