Students from St. Mary school, Lincoln attended a ceremony at the State Capitol during which the Medal of Honor winner Lt. Col. Charles Hagemeister received his medal. After the ceremony, Lt. Col. Hagemeistertook off his medal and allowed the students to personally look at it. In the picture, The gentleman in full Civil War Dress is a relative of a former Medal of Honor Winner (from the Civil War). The coat that one of the students wears is an original coat from the Civil War.
