We at Saint John Nepomucene Grade School in Weston are very grateful for the seven years of service that Mrs. Frances Vanek gave to us as our head teacher and math teacher. We wish her many blessings in her retirement, and we congratulate her on 37 years of teaching.
I am particularly grateful for the invaluable administrative assistance that Mrs. Vanek gave to me during my four years as superintendent and principal of St. John’s. Her experience and advice was very helpful to me.
We will miss Mrs. Vanek, but I am glad to know that she plans to be available as a substitute teacher for St. John’s next year. I am sure that new principal Fr. Matthew Vandewalle and his staff will be happy to welcome Mrs. Vanek back to help out.
