SACRED HEART BENEFACTORS AND STUDENTS PULL TOGETHER TO RETIRE HVAC AND WINDOW DEBT
After working for nearly eight years to pay off more than $500,000.00, the last of the debt on this school improvement project has disappeared. The students and staff have been the beneficiaries of more efficient and even heating of the building with the added benefit of air conditioning for the months when the thermometer rises. The last three weeks have seen a coin drive for ultimate push with the students, staff and other benefactors contributing over $6,000.00 in the “Your Change Makes a Difference” campaign. The enthusiasm and generosity of the children was remarkable to behold, and many gave from the heart as they produced coins from their piggy banks and became part of history. May God continue to bless the work we seek to accomplish at Sacred Heart in making life-long generous disciples of Jesus Christ and His Sacred Heart.
